Most recent update adds fix for removing mouse lag in menus. Also seems to fix 'microstuttering' some people have been getting when looking around. Makes aiming and general gameplay much more enjoyable. Also fallout 4 is best played at 60-75fps due to the engine being dependent on a 60 frame rate in order to run properly (lockpicking won't work properly and other functions). Guide to fixing the sluggish/laggy mouse input in Fallout 4 to get as close to '1:1' mouse input as possible. It seems as though this happens for everyone and itsn't just a problem on my end or with my card, but I want to double check what your guys' experience is with godrays high/ultra and which you run at. If your monitor if above 60hz turn off v-sync unless it's g-sync. I have zero problems running the game smoothly on High settings without Streamlabs. I attempted to lower resolution and graphic settings of the game, which didn't make much difference. Turning godrays from ultra to high seem to give me a huge FPS bump (with ultra the lowest frames I've seen were around 40, but with godrays to high, that turns into 52.) Trying to stream Fallout 4, but 1) Streamlabs likes to crash as soon as I open the game and 2) i'm getting crazy amounts of lag. I have tried disable V-sync and capping it at 60 FPS, reinstalling, and running it on lower settings but nothing worked (capping it at 60 FPS made it so the game wouldn't get past the initial load screen). My Mouse and keyboard have about a 1 second input lag and the game is running horribly. I have been trying to get FO4 to work for the past few days to no avail. I'm running everything maxed and it runs 60+ almost all the time, except in cities and in some wooded areas. Fallout 4 input lag for mouse and keyboard. I would prefer to be running fullscreen as the PC seems to run more sluggish borderless. I would usually be fine leaving it at that, but it's really puzzling me why this is the case. When I turn it to windowed borderless 1080p, the framerate is capped at 60 and it seems to be running buttery smooth. I can run the game above 60 when i turn off Vsync, but of course that results in horrible screen tearing as well as the problem where the game runs faster at higher framerates.īut when i turn Vsync on in fullscreen, for some reason my FPS is capped at 50, not 60, and I seem to have "stutter."
